Just like in school, a safe, positive atmosphere is important on the bus. To achieve this, students must behave appropriately, respectfully, and responsibly at all times.

Should unacceptable conduct occur, students will be referred to the principal. Parents will be notified and discipline procedures implemented. Discipline procedures include, but are not limited to:

          written and verbal warnings,

          detention,

          out of school suspension

          temporary loss of bus ridership privileges

In those cases where state or local statutes are broken, the Sheriff’s Department may be contacted. Repeat offenders will be subject to increasingly severe consequences that may culminate in the loss of bus ridership privileges for the remainder of the school year.
