PreKindergarten
Curriculum
Philosophy
We believe that children should be provided
a safe and nurturing environment that encourages family involvement and
promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young
children.
We believe that
children of this age learn the most during their play, using hands-on
activities.
We believe that
all children learn and grow at individual rates.
We believe that
whatever your child knows at the beginning of the school year is exactly what
(s)he should know. All children come to school with a wide range of abilities.
We meet the individual needs of each and every child.
We believe in
inclusion and feel that children with special needs learn from typically
functioning children; just as typically functioning children learn from
children with special needs.
Mission
Our mission for the PreKindergarten program is to provide developmentally
appropriate, hands-on learning experiences to foster each child’s individual
