Program Logistics
- Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-5:00 p.m.
- Held in a fourth grade classroom and the library.
- Staffed by teachers.
- Transportation home for students is not provided.
- No charge for this program.
- There will be no After-School Study Club on nights before a vacation.
Student Expectations
- Program is open to all students in grades 3-6, whether on their own or by a teacher recommendation.
- Students may attend 1 after-school program or all of them.
- Students must come prepared to work.
- This is a work time, not a social time or daycare.
- Computers may be used for homework (games are not allowed).
- This is an extended school program; all rules that apply during the school day also apply during the after-school program.
- Students must sign in at the beginning of the program time and sign out if leaving prior to 5:00 p.m.
- Students will not be allowed to leave the program before 5:00 p.m. unless a parent/guardian contact is made.
- Arrangements can be made to have your child leave at an earlier time, but parents must pick students up in the classroom.
- Student pick up will be at the West side doors.
- Students not picked up by 5:15 p.m. will be sent to the Helping Hands Daycare (Room 506) until someone arrives to collect them. Parents will be charged for this service.
How do I enroll my student in this club?
Fill out an enrollment form and return to the office. Sign up before noon of the club day by calling the office or send a note with your child. You may enroll your child for one day or as many as needed.
