Mrs. Sebold's Kindergarten Kids
We caught up with Mrs. Sebold's busy classroom as they spent time buddy reading with fourth graders from Mr. Patyk's class. The kindergartners really look forward to Friday afternoons to share what they've learned about letters, sentences and books. Their excitement is shared by the fourth graders who take their responsibility of modeling excellent reading skills very seriously.
The kindergartners and fourth graders share in other activities as well. Candi Mills, a kindergarten parent and artist, came to school to share her love of painting. She showed the kids painting and cutting techniques for creating beautiful snowflakes.
In addition, the kids work together or share in the fourth grade Indian Foods Day and the kindergarten celebration of the 100th day of school.
