Ms. Naomi Monson visited AES from Medellin, Colombia where she teaches school. Ms. Monson is the aunt of an Auburndale 3rd grader and 5th grader.

She spoke to the students about Colombia showing many pictures and artifacts. She even brought each student a gift from her students in Colombia...homemade twisted twine bracelets. In addition, AES students were treated to some Colombian candy...YUM!

Auburndale 3rd graders returned the favors by sending back homemade bracelets of their own as well as a short video about our elementary school.
